| Formerly a grocer’s shop, Le Chardon retains the original Victorian tiled walls, old shop shelves and weighing scales, but now given an authentic French feel with oilcloths and Parisian street signs. Dine on classic and well-executed bistro favourites or specialities such as Kangaroo Fillet Steak or Braised Pheasant. The cuisine leans towards the South of France and the menu also offers seafood and vegetarian dishes. Generous helpings, reasonable prices and friendly service.
